Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager Financial Reporting at Dubai Holding Group Services. 

In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include: 

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Oversee financial reporting, management reporting, and regulatory reporting activities in line with IFRS, GAAP, and internal governance standards.
• Manage end-to-end R2R processes including general ledger, financial close, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statement preparation.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including FP&A, Treasury, Internal Audit, and business teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial data.
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices across reporting processes and support external/internal audits.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing reporting team while fostering a customer-centric and continuous improvement culture.

About you: 

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA will be preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Record to Report (R2R), financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and financial close processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial controls, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, or Workday.
• Exposure to reporting and reconciliation tools such as BlackLine, ARCS, RPA, and AI-driven analytics solutions is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a finance shared services environment and exposure to the Middle East region will be preferred.
