About the Job:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Bartender at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with the beverage recipes, service standards, and outlet requirements.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient guest service by taking orders, understanding customer needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of cocktails, beverages, spirits, and wines to confidently recommend and advise guests when required.
  • Ensure the bar is fully prepared for service by completing mise-en-place, arranging bottles and glasses, preparing garnishes, and stocking bar snacks.
  • Follow proper cashiering and cash-handling procedures by accurately processing payments, vouchers, and billing transactions.
  • Monitor and manage bar stock levels by ordering supplies, rotating stock using FIFO, checking expiry dates, and supporting stocktaking activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards by keeping the bar area clean, following food hygiene procedures, and completing opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
  • Support team operations and communication by assisting colleagues, reporting issues or stock losses to supervisors, and handling guest complaints professionally.

 

About you:

  • Secondary School / Food & Beverage experience / bar
  • 2 -5 years’ experience in a similar role. 
  • Ability to describe main spirit category
  • Flexible working hours 
  • Must strictly always adhere to all HR policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to train, coach, mentor colleagues.
