About the Job:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Technician 1- Technical Services at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, and overhauls on rides, attractions, equipment, and facilities in line with manufacturer specifications and park standards.
  • Conduct daily safety checks and inspections to ensure all rides and attractions operate safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and respond promptly to maintenance-related calls to minimise downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Support the safe operation of equipment by identifying hazards, reporting issues, and ensuring repairs are completed safely.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, team leaders, operations teams, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure equipment remains fully operational.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, documentation, and updates related to repairs, servicing, inspections, and equipment status.
  • Assist with spare parts requirements, technical adjustments, annual testing, and planned maintenance activities.
  • Support the Technical Services team with projects, urgent maintenance needs, and operational requirements, including working flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

 

About you:

  • Relevant technical qualification such as a High School Diploma in Engineering, with additional certifications, training, licences, or educational upgrades in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on ability in electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe repair practices.
  • Previous experience in technical environments, preferably within theme parks, rides and attractions, building facilities, plant operations, system integration, or similar maintenance settings.
  • Safety-focused mindset with the ability to work calmly and safely around guests and team members, follow HSE standards, identify hazards, and ensure safe completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills, with flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, at heights, and support the Technical Services team across operational requirements.
