About the Job:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Supervisor – Costume & Wardrobe (National Talent) at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Oversee daily costume and wardrobe operations, ensuring smooth distribution, maintenance, laundry, fittings, and availability of uniforms and costumes.
  • Supervise and support wardrobe team members, including leads, attendants, drivers, and seamstresses, through daily briefings, coaching, training, and performance guidance.
  • Maintain costume and wardrobe inventory systems, ensuring accurate records of uniforms, costumes, repairs, stock levels, transactions, and asset movements.
  • Ensure quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently met across all wardrobe items, work areas, laundry processes, and costume preparations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors, including laundry providers, uniform suppliers, repair services, procurement, finance, and operational teams.
  • Support procurement and cost control activities by preparing purchase requests, obtaining vendor quotations, comparing prices, tracking purchase orders, and monitoring supplies.
  • Manage operational issues and escalate concerns related to staffing, HR matters, equipment, policies, procedures, billing, and vendor performance to the Assistant Manager.
  • Prepare for events and daily entertainment requirements, ensuring costumes and uniforms are performance-ready, team resources are available, and urgent wardrobe support is provided when required.

 

About you:

  • High School Diploma with at least 3+ years of experience in wardrobe or costume departments within theme parks, live theatre, cruise lines, universities, or similar entertainment environments.
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in wardrobe or costume operations, with the ability to guide, support, and manage team members effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of sewing, fittings, basic pattern work, costume maintenance, laundry processes, uniform handling, and wardrobe inventory organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of online procurement systems, purchase request processes, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficient in English, a strong team player, flexible with working hours, physically fit for operational duties, and able to adapt to changing work environments.
