About the job: 

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager - Design to join Dubai Holding Real Estate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: 

• Lead the review of design briefs and requirements to ensure alignment with project vision and design intent.
• Manage consultants and drive collaboration to maintain a consistent and unified design approach across projects.
• Review and validate design deliverables to ensure coordination, completeness, and alignment with project scope.
• Monitor design progress against project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestone packages.
• Ensure designs are aligned with budget requirements while supporting overall project financial viability.
• Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost without compromising design quality and intent.
• Review and approve drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on design progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Keep abreast of emerging new technology, application software's and trends for designing drawings.

About you:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or a related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree
• 6–8 years of experience in design within real estate or large-scale developments, including exposure to managing projects or leading design stages.
• Strong understanding of design processes, regulations, and industry standards, with experience in high-end hospitality or mixed-use projects seen as a plus.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and MS Office, with familiarity in design coordination and documentation
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders
• Excellent understanding of budget considerations and value engineering within design projects
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
