About the Job:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Manager – Technical Services at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Lead and manage the technical services team, including team leaders and technicians, to ensure effective maintenance operations across the parks. 
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of rides, attractions, playgrounds, and technical equipment in line with OEM manuals and industry standards. 
  • Plan and ensure completion of preventive maintenance, periodic inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance activities. 
  • Maximize equipment availability and operational reliability by minimizing downtime and resolving technical issues efficiently. 
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented, reported, and aligned with company procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Manage spare parts requirements, identify problematic equipment, and proactively recommend improvements or adjustments. 
  • Ensure all team members work safely, receive appropriate training, and comply with HSE policies, safe systems of work, and company procedures. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments, service providers, and ride manufacturers to support operational needs and maintain high technical performance.

 

About you:

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic knowledge. 
  • 10-15 years’ experience in technical troubleshooting, maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and repair of rides, attractions, or similar equipment. 
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and train technical teams effectively. 
  • Knowledge of control logic systems, PLC systems, documentation processes, and safe systems of work. 
  • Good communication skills in English, with the ability to report clearly, coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and ride manufacturers.
