About the Job

Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager - Data Engineering at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and optimise data processing solutions for batch and near real-time analytics 
• Create structured data models and databases to support reporting and business insights 
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for data solutions using Azure DevOps 
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability through validation and monitoring practices 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Improve performance and cost-efficiency of data platforms in a cloud environment 
• Design and implement data models, schemas, and stored procedures in SQL Server for analytics and reporting.

About You

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field 
• Proficiency in building data pipelines, data models, and database solutions 
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data processing techniques 
• Experience with automation, version control, and deployment practices 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
