Job Overview: 

Here's your chance to step into the role of Accountant Financial Reporting at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include: 

• Manage journal entries, intercompany transactions, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing activities in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and review trial balances, balance sheet schedules, and periodic financial reports to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Support statutory reporting activities and coordinate with auditors and regulatory stakeholders during financial audits.
• Perform monthly GL and intercompany reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and reporting compliance.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, controls, and operational effectiveness.

About you: 

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA is preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory reporting, and finance processes.
• Experience working in a shared services or multinational environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools, with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Middle East/UAE regional experience is preferred.
