About The Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab.
- Conduct temperature checks, verify expiry dates, and ensure full compliance with HACCP and hotel hygiene standards.
- Identify and report any damages, spoilage, or discrepancies, rejecting deliveries that do not meet required standards.
- Accurately record all received goods in the inventory/ERP system, ensuring proper documentation and daily reporting.
- Maintain organized records and effective coordination with Purchasing, Finance, and relevant departments for reconciliation.
- Uphold professional appearance, safety, and hygiene standards while operating within the hotel’s receiving bay or loading dock area.
- Receive and inspect all food, beverage, and general supplies, verifying quantity, quality, and specifications against Purchase Orders.
About You
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management.
- 1–2 years’ experience in hotel receiving, purchasing, or stores operations.
- Strong knowledge of F&B products, quality standards, and inventory principles.
- Proficient in hotel systems such as Micros Materials Control, Adaco, and Oracle.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and physically fit, with strong communication and basic accounting skills.
