About The Job:

An opportunity has arisen for Senior Fitness Instructor to join Sports & Leisure at Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Carry out tasks on the Daily Opening / Closing Checklist and ensure the fitness center /pool area is closed to the standard you would want to open it with.
  • Offer advice and ensure safe training techniques to members and in-house guests.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of all areas in the gym and its equipment, including cardio-vascular area, resistance and free weights area, studio and the gym office / assessment room.
  • To maximize revenue and profit through proactive selling of PT sessions, classes and amenities and provide the highest standards of service levels.
  • Assist in preparing yearly budget file and managing the P/L with in the budget and sundry revenue to achieve.

 

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Internationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., YMCA, ACSM, Premier Training, or equivalent).
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to understand and respond to client needs effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable in managing people, priorities, and operational requirements.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their fitness goals.
