About Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Manager to join In House Laundry in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and pressing/ironing machines, while following standard operating procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and prepare hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met.
- Inspect all laundry items for stains, damage, or missing items, and report any discrepancies or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring proper handling and storage of chemicals, linen, and equipment.
- Monitor linen and uniform inventory, support timely distribution to departments, and ensure adequate stock is available to meet operational requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant systems, where applicable.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
