About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join our Housekeeping team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Ensure proper inventories of linen and all operating equipment in housekeeping is conducted in line with audit standards in order to effectively manage cost.
• Ensure all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictly enforced in line with Jumeirah HS&E standards to ensure guests and colleagues’ safety.
•  Ensure proper controls of master keys are in place to guarantee guests safety.
•  Effectively oversee the control of cleaning supplies and guest supplies (receiving, recording, handling, and storage) to minimize losses and maximize use of resources.
• Participate in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan to ensure housekeeping operation is adequately represented.
• Actively participate in Housekeeping Daily activities, in but not limited to Rooms, Public Areas and Water Bottling Plant Operation.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Work experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality.
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations, preferably 5* hotels and resorts.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, clearly and in fluent English.
• Handling industrial cleaning equipment, products, chemicals.
• Hotel system Opera Cloud and excellent organizational and team management skills.
