About The Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Department Coordinator to join Housekeeping in Jumeirah Living World Trade Center. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Provide constant monitoring of the service standards and cleaning standards of the Housekeeping Colleagues.
  • Regularly review the training results and needs with Assistant Executive Housekeepers.
  • To conduct inspections of corridors, service areas, pantries, staircases and Public Area toilets to ensure proper cleaning.
  • To supervise the colleagues within the department ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
  • Schedule monthly action plan in advance coordinating with the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper.


About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Must be able to remain calm when under pressure 
  • Problem Solving, Collaborating with Others, Diligence
  • Flexible with guest requests 
  • Problem solving and follow up abilities 
  • Software competencies - Excel, AutoCAD, Oracle, Microsoft Office
