About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Manager – Sports & Leisure to join Jumeirah Saadiyat Island.
- Support the daily operations of the Sports & Leisure department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all recreational facilities and activities.
- Coordinate and supervise sports, fitness, wellness, and leisure programs while maintaining high service standards and safety procedures.
- Assist in managing team schedules, training, and performance to ensure efficient department operations and excellent guest engagement.
- Monitor facility maintenance and cleanliness, liaising with relevant departments to ensure all equipment and recreational areas are fully operational.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests professionally to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support the planning and execution of recreational events, wellness activities, and seasonal programs to increase guest participation and revenue opportunities.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Sports, Leisure, Recreation, Fitness, or Hospitality operations.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment will be an added advantage.
